Mexico, Bermuda, Bahamas, Aruba…

Imagine a sunset ceremony somewhere in the Carribean. The surf is crashing, the breeze is warm, and LOVE is in the air! The perfect scenario for your “destination wedding” photographed by ImageMakers Photographic Artists.

If you are planning such a wedding, we have special discounted rates. For a limited time only we are offering a special”destination discount”. The couple simply supplies the photographers (2) with roundtrip airfare and 2 nights accomodations (plus the discounted wedding collection).

This offer applies only to destinations requiring air travel to and from the wedding destination.

So if its the pink sands of Bermuda, the sun-kissed beaches of Mexico, sunny Florida or any European locale we can artfully capture your special day!

Wherever your DREAM WEDDING takes place we are ready to travel… (all of the images in collage posted above were taken in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico)

A little justification…

Why do pro photographers charge what they do? What separates the educated full time pro from the weekend warrior? Why is it I can hire someone to cover my wedding day for only $1000.? What’s the difference between a snapshot and a fine photograph?  As working professionals…these are questions we often hear.  First off let me clarify that a professional is one who derives his or her living from what they do. As photographers who hold degrees in the medium and who have studied lighting, composition, art history, color theory, etc. our eyes are trained to see the moment slightly different. We all can make a snapshot of any given moment, but the trained pro should always take it to the next level and that is exactly what we try to do on each and every assignment. We have established ourselves by trying to make our images look different…how?, image enhancement, different modes and styles of lighting, there are so many elements that factor into…next level photography. Some consumers just don’t care, but for those who do, the difference is very obvious.

Below are a few samples of original image vs. enhanced image…you be the judge!

Bethany

Bethany is an 8th grader and dreams of being an actress! At the beginning of the session her smiles looked a little forced…sometimes it takes a few shots before the subject settles in and starts feeling comfortable. It wasn’t  until I asked her if she thought I looked like Nick Jonas that I got some real smiles…actually it was laughter! She was a really sweet girl and  she seemed to really be having fun.

ROCK ON!

Introducing singer, songwriter, musician, performer, recording studio owner and technician, Matt Neves! Matt sat for the ImageMakers camera recently for visual content for his upcoming CD, website, and promotional materials. It was a great shoot and we established a comfortable rapport quickly. Matt’s a young man with a very bright future! Rock on!

The Steve’s are back…

We are back from our Mystic 5- 3 day intensive seminar/workshop in Mystic, CT. While there we studied with the wedding world’s finest photographers including Jason Groupp from NYC, David A. Williams and  Jerry Ghionis from Australia, and John Michael Cooper of Las Vegas, just to mention a few. It was a very inspiring 3 days and we can’t wait for the 2010 wedding season to begin! New trends for 2010…

Jerry Ghionis was a real standout educator for us, he is world renowned for his beautiful wedding photography! His lecture/demonstration went until almost 1 AM, to an absolutely packed audience….what a talent!
